Challenge
In this experiment, the air moves faster at the center of the flow produced by the blow, making the pressure at this point always lower. The ball is always kept in the center of the air jet because it is pushed there by the slower air and, therefore, by the greater pressure of the surrounding air. At the same time, the ball remains in suspension since the force exerted by the rising air jet is sufficient to balance its weight.
