In times like these, it is important that children and young people are able to separate the true information from the false one. Browsing the internet, one can find lots of practical advice and useful information, but also discover new ideas and learn something new.
Now that we all have to stay at home, we need to help the younger ones to make a balanced management between the time they spend online and other offline activities, presenting them with several challenges. And, how about doing physical exercise together or challenging yourself in a board game? Playing Beat the virus is an example of an excellent activity to do as a family.

In this period, when even the youngest can understand that something unusual is happening. The Council of Europe shares some ideas on how we can help them to cope with the current situation. Following these suggestions, children and young people will understand with their experience, in a playful-didactic way, what are the social and etiquette rules, shared responsibility, rights and duties on the internet, as well as rights and customer responsibilities.
