During the development of human civilizations, there has always been a need to measure time, either for counting days and controlling processes (agricultural, industrial, etc.), or for an organizational matter of societies (commerce, services, etc.) . Over the years, humans managed to use creativity and ingenuity to create tools, from calendars to objects, which allowed to measure time and to “see” time passing by.
