Experimental protocol
According to the World Health Organization (WHO), hand hygiene is one of the simplest and most effective measures in reducing the transmission of microorganisms and integrates one of the basic precautions in the prevention and control of infection, for us and others. It also plays an important role in preventing contamination of food and everyday objects, being the most frequent route of transmission of the flu virus, for example. As such, the health of others is also in our hands, so it is important that these healthy habits are acquired right from childhood.
This activity comes under the program #cienciavivaathome. From the kitchen to the bathroom, even walking through the garage, no room was left out: after all, science is everywhere!
